Goals: After this lecture, a learner will be able to:  

• Explain the new developments in AF screening including the uncertainty of oral AC for subclinical AF 

• Describe the weaknesses in the evidence for “Early” rhythm control options, specifically the EAST AF trial 
• Identify the ideal patient for AF ablation vs AV node ablation and pacing, especially the patient with HF.
